Ecofont software wins Accenture Innovation Award

Amsterdam - Accenture has announced the winners of the Accenture Innovation Awards 2011. The organization received a record number of 1250 entries. The ceremony took place at the Amsterdam RAI Convention Centre.

The jury consisted of directors of Unilever, Heineken and FrieslandCampina among others. The Judges looked at the degree of innovation, success and potential of the entries.

Chairman Emmo Meijer announced Ecofont software winner of the Accenture Innovation Award 2011 in the Consumer Products & Agri category. The jury praised the simplicity of the innovation and the worldwide potential.  

"This year it once again became clear that innovation is still alive and well in the Netherlands. With 1250 participating concepts across various industries, over 25000 votes and 700 visitors and innovation enthusiasts, the fifth edition of the Accenture Innovation Awards was a big success." said Peter Paul van Oerle, Senior Manager and one of the initiators of the Innovation Awards five years ago.
